Nature's fury

Series of MagicTheGathering artstudies. Practice exercise, i wanted to challenge myself following the brief of an actual card and meanwhile studying some vegetation, composition and light setup.
If the thumbnail fooled you my goal is achieved :)

2025 Rework, after a while i felt i lost the energy of the sketch, plus i wanted to give a little bit of "badass" treatment: more dangerous, teeths, spikes, menacing and with the "haste" vibe a bit more underlined from the comp and the flying debris
